The Ragdoll is a majestic feline breed known for its size and striking blue eyes. Their medium-length coat is soft and silky, and it rarely tangles. Females typically weigh between 8 to 14 pounds, while males are noticeably larger, ranging from 10 to 16 pounds. Ragdolls typically reach their full size and maturity by the age of three.
The Ragdoll breed comes in six point colors: seal, blue, chocolate, lilac, red, and cream. These colors may appear in solid, lynx (including tortie-lynx), and parti-colored (or tortie) patterns. Although all Ragdolls have pointed coloration, the points are partially overlaid with white in the Mitted and Bicolor varieties. The body should have even coloring with subtle shading, and clear color is preferable. Older Ragdolls may have darker coloration, but there must be a clear contrast between the body color and points.
Regardless of the variety, Ragdolls always have captivating blue eyes that enhance their beauty and charm.
